Threats Fig1

Coralligenous outcrops are increasingly suffering impacts due to a range of anthropogenic disturbances. Trawling is probably the most destroying fishing method; it is causing degradation and fragmentation over large areas. This image shows an abandoned fishing net at approximately 35 m depth. Locality: Île de Porquerolles.
